Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi → Samburu National Reserve (Approx. 6 Hours Drive)- 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM:

Depart from your Nairobi hotel early in the morning and drive north through scenic farmlands and the beautiful highlands of Kenya. Pass by Mt. Kenya’s slopes before descending into the semi-arid plains of Samburu.

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM:

Arrive at your lodge or camp in Samburu and enjoy a delicious lunch. Take some time to relax, freshen up, and enjoy the serene surroundings.

3:30 PM – 6:30 PM:

Embark on your first thrilling evening game drive across Samburu’s rugged terrain. Spot elephants gathering near the Ewaso Nyiro River and be on the lookout for leopards, lions, and the rare Samburu Special Five. As the sun sets, capture magical photos before returning to your lodge.

Dinner and Overnight:

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your selected Samburu lodge or camp.

Day 2

Samburu → Nairobi(6:30 AM – 9:00 AM:)

Early morning game drive — the best time to witness predators in action and herds grazing in the cool morning light. Capture the tranquil beauty of the reserve as the sun rises over the rugged hills.

9:00 AM – 10:00 AM:

Return to your lodge for breakfast, then relax and soak in the last views of Samburu’s wilderness.

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM:

Check out and begin your return journey to Nairobi with a lunch stop en route. Arrive in the evening and drop off at your hotel or preferred location, marking the end of your 2-day Samburu adventure.
