Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi → Amboseli National Park (07:00 AM – 11:00 AM)

Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel and drive to Amboseli National Park via the scenic Nairobi–Mombasa highway. Stop for brief photo moments along the way and enjoy light refreshments during the drive.

11:00 AM – 02:00 PM:

Arrive at Amboseli National Park and enjoy a mid-morning birding game drive. Spot species like African jacanas, spur-winged plovers, yellow-billed storks, and flamingos near the swamps.

02:00 PM – 03:00 PM:

Check-in at your lodge or tented camp. Lunch and relaxation.

03:30 PM – 06:00 PM:

Afternoon birding and game drive across Amboseli’s plains. Capture the golden sunset over Mount Kilimanjaro with silhouettes of elephants and crowned cranes. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Amboseli → Nairobi (05:30 AM – 08:00 AM)

Early morning bird watching drive around the marshes and acacia woodland. Look out for raptors, hornbills, bee-eaters, and kingfishers during the dawn hours.

08:00 AM – 09:00 AM:

Breakfast at the lodge. Optional short walk or relaxed viewing from the lodge grounds as you spot birds near the waterholes.

09:00 AM – 12:00 PM:

Final birding and game drive while exiting the park, with possible sightings of ostriches, eagles, and giraffes.

12:00 PM – 06:00 PM:

Depart Amboseli for Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon with fond memories and photos of Amboseli’s incredible birdlife.
