Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi → Aberdares National Park (07:00 AM – 11:00 AM)

Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel and drive through central Kenya’s rolling tea and coffee plantations towards the Aberdares. Stop briefly in Nyeri town for refreshments and scenic photos.

11:00 AM – 01:00 PM:

Enter the park via the Ark or Treetops Lodge gate (depending on your chosen lodge). Enjoy a gentle drive through forested hills, spotting elephants, buffaloes, and bushbucks along the way.

01:00 PM – 02:00 PM:

Check in at your lodge and have lunch. Relax and enjoy the serene mountain air.

03:30 PM – 06:00 PM:

Afternoon game drive through the park’s bamboo forests and open moorlands, visiting scenic waterfalls such as Karuru and Chania Falls. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay, where you can observe wildlife at the waterhole from the comfort of your viewing deck.

Day 2

Aberdares → Nairobi (06:30 AM – 08:00 AM:)

Enjoy early morning coffee or tea followed by a guided nature walk or short game drive to catch the park’s morning activity.

08:00 AM – 09:00 AM:

Return to the lodge for breakfast.

09:00 AM – 11:00 AM:

Optional visit to the moorlands area for more scenic photography or bird watching.

11:00 AM – 04:00 PM:

Check out and drive back to Nairobi, with a lunch stop en route. Arrive in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or residence.
